Faith Trust God’s Plan

I want to continue our conversation from last week’s blog concerning Faith Matters and how God has already planned His sons and daughter’s destiny on the earth.

Ephesians 1:5 (AMPC) says “For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ in accordance with the purpose of His will (because it pleased Him and was His kind intent).”

From a biblical viewpoint destiny simply means God’s plan and purpose for His children conceived long before we were born. It is that to which any person is predetermined and foreordained to accomplish by God while on the earth. God told Jeremiah in chapter 29 :11 from the (AMPC) bible “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil to give you hope in your final outcome.”

At this point we must digress and see what God told Jeremiah in chapter 1:5 from the (AMPC) bible. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you (and) approved of you (as my chosen instrument) and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; (and) I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Receiving this one revelation from the Word of God will answer the question as to why we are here on this earth and why we were born. We came into this world already prewired and prepackaged with everything we need to walk out God’s plan for our life. Is it always easy walking out God’s destined plan for our life? No! Is it always worth it? Yes! Faith says I believe God no matter how it looks or how challenging it gets. Several years ago, Holy Spirit had me to declare this statement. “If I have to go through this (whatever your this is, you know) when I get to that (God’s destined plan) , it will be worth all of this.” Faith makes it worth it!

  2. Oh, how we all need this encouragement. I really appreciate you putting into words what we all feel sometimes, especially when our faith is tested. I love that scripture you quoted from Jerimiah 29. Keep these posts coming, because God’s people need them now more than ever. God bless you brother.

  3. What amazing love, that God was pleased to adopt us and that His
plans for us are only good. Increase my faith dear Father!

  4. Saying yes to the Lord’s plans for our lives, and thereby agreeing to co-labor with Him so those plans can be walked out, is one of the most important decisions of our lives. Blessings!
