Faith Matters

To everyone who finds themselves involved in the process of moving forward in life only to encounter times of great challenges and conflict, let me encourage you and let you know that God has a plan, purpose, and destiny for you to walk out on the earth. Although destinations are our goal, what is more important is the journey in getting there.

The journey teaches us, equips us, trains us, and empowers us for the destinations. We grow as we go with God. There’s not just one destination in life where you will show up, but a series of destinations as we purpose to keep moving forward. Psalm 37:23 (AMPC) The steps of a (good) man are directed (ordered) and established by the Lord when He delights in his way (and He busies Himself with his every step). It takes faith to step out on God’s word and move forward. When we know that our steps have been ordered of the Lord, we also know that our stops have been ordered.

I order many things from amazon prime, and they ensure that my home address is correct so that the package won’t go to a different location. When my order has been shipped, the amazon truck that it is on may have many stops before it arrives at my house. The order has a tracking devise where I can monitor its progress. The Word of God is our monitoring system when it comes to the plan that God has ordered for our life. God has placed an order for our steps even before we were born, and He knows our home address. It takes faith to trust God’s delivery route. He may have some stops along the way, but we must have faith that God will deliver what He has ordered for us at the right place, at the right time. Don’t ever forget that faith has a payday. Keep moving forward, your faith matters.

  1. Billy, your applications always make things so clear. I love your example of an
Amazon order. It’s encouraging and comforting to think He has “ordered”
for us and it comes at the right time and place!

  2. So encouraging to be reminded that our “stops” are order by the Lord as well as our “steps”. Blessings!
